| California to Require Crane Operator Certification
Effective June 1, 2005, most operators of mobile and tower cranes in California will have to be certified. Certifications may be issued only by a 'certifying entity' whose certification program has been accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). The CCO national crane operator certification program has been accredited by NCCA since 1998. |
There are over 18 different Cal/OSHA offices(with an
additional 3 field offices) and 18 different phone numbers to report
unsafe work practices. Unfortunately, we do not have one hotline phone
number where you can report unsafe work practices. Here's a link to our
offices: Cal/OSHA
offices Complaints and Accidents can be reported at anytime.
Each office has an answering service that can take calls after work
hours.
